Key Responsibilities
- . Development of enhancements to the Murex MLC System.
- ‘Hands on’ developments in below areas
• Risk Configuration
• Risk Formula Datamart
• Workflow - Understand the Risk limit structure E.g. Pre-settlement, Settlement, Notional
- System testing, trouble shooting, code review and quality control.
- Offer third level support to the production support team
Qualifications and Skills Required
Seniority/ Experience:
- It w ould be expected that the candidate w ould have a minimum of 2 years of development experience,preferablyworkingwithMurexapplications – Y
- 2+ years’ experience w orking directly w ith users to gather/ analyse requirements and translation into a technical solution- Y
Soft Skills
Ability to take responsibility for project/enhancement delivery from initiation to implementation and ensure delivery under tight schedules. Articulate w ith a high standard of w ritten and verbal communication skills. Able toworkwithother teams and manage those teams toachieve project deliverables. Team Player. – Y
Business Know ledge
Banking Background, Specifically in Risk Management and/ or Treasury – Desirable
- Understanding of:
-Credit Risk Concepts
-Treasury products including Derivatives, Fixed Income and Money Market products – Desirable
Technical Skills
- Murex system in a Banking environment – Y
- RDBMS – Oracle – Y
- Unix/Linux OS – Y
- Unix Scripting – Y
