The AFC system entails a national integrated ferry ticketing system with end-to-end fare collection, which will later be expanded to include bus ticketing systems and other forms of transportation. Besides, it has a web reservation page, a QR code-based ticket issued through a mobile app, and an onboard validator that accepts Europay, MasterCard® and Visa® (EMV) bank cards. The system features ticketing devices and inspection stations at ferry terminals. The AFC system also leverages a reservation portal, mobility apps, and a central back office.
